Public Access TV\u00a0described by NME as New York’s Hottest New Band, and included in both their and Rough Trade’s Top 50 Albums of the Year. Their latest single comes with a light hearted video focusing on a band called, ‘Evil Disco’. <\/strong><\/h4>\n

The video takes you back to the 70s and 80s, when life was easier and young people\u00a0would go\u00a0together in their classic cars to check out bands. The kids are all fans of ‘Evil Disco’ and, by way of soundbites, we discover that they used to have mullets, they bought their ‘Evil Disco’ shirts from scalpers, the drummer is the cutest one of the band, and so on. It’s got all the qualities of a home-made video while never once losing professionalism.<\/p>\n

Public Access TV have shared the stage with the likes of The Strokes, Weezer, Gang Of Four, Palma Violets, Wavves, and Hinds, and are set to support Green Day at this year’s BST in Hyde Park, on 1 July, followed by an autumn and winter tour of the UK. Public Access TV have also lined up a support gig on the US leg of The Pixies’ tour.<\/p>\n

Their previous single, ‘End Of An Era’, met with high praise from Zane Lowe, who premiered it, and\u00a0the song reached #2 on the FMQB SubModern Singles Chart.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Public Access TV are no strangers to festivals, having\u00a0performed at The Governor’s Ball, Bonnaroo, i-Days Festival, Truck Festival, Y Not Festival, and the Vice\/Noisey Festival of Independence, as well as performing at NYLON’s New York City Fashion Week party.<\/p>\n
