Her album, &#8216;The Widowed Earth&#8217; has spawned the beautiful &#8216;Water&#8217;, a gorgeous convergence\u00a0of the human spirit and nature.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Music has long been a part of Florence&#8217;s life, but a struggle with and subsequent recovery from Anorexia Nervosa gave her the will to fully immerse herself in her career, the journey through which &#8216;The Widowed Earth&#8217; effectively documents.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She spent three years honing her skills in what she calls &#8220;Harry Potter style&#8221;: under the staircase at home, writing, producing, and recording what would result in her album. Huffington Post describes it thus:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe result is a hypnotic genre defying cinematic soundscape of an album, her \u201cpieces are much sound sculptures as they are songs.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The video accompanying &#8216;Water&#8217; sees Dos Floris among the moss-covered stones, and gently flowing river, deep in a forest. The clip has been shot and directed by Mediamorphose, and each scene carefully constructed to allow Dos Floris to take centre stage in the frame.
