Tremble began with the chance encounter between Kelly Sweet and songwriter\/producer\/musicians Haywire and Ajax, known for their work with Miley Cyrus and Duran Duran respectively, in the backyard of Eric Vetro, himself the famed vocal guru to Pink, and Muse’s Matt Bellamy. <\/strong><\/h4>\n

The group discovered they had a shared appetite for the seminal trip hop of the 90s, and from that they formed Tremble, melding twisted hypnotic grooves with spine-chilling melodies.<\/p>\n

The band’s fanbase has been rapidly expanding as their songs permeate the masses. ‘Blur’ was featured for nearly three minutes on ABC America’s programme, ‘The Fosters’, which led to a lot of attention for Tremble. Now they’ve released ‘Want Me To Want Me’, their cover of the Jason Derulo song. Retaining the original’s melody, the song has been stripped back and re-imagined: slowed down a little, and given a trip-hop treatment.<\/p>\n

The accompanying video was shot\u00a0by Eric Soboleski, of Before Infinity Productions, and features Kelly singing to the camera, with Haywire and Ajax barely perceptible in the background. Kelly is simply back-lit by one spotlight. The whole effect is sultry and sensual, with all the focus exactly as it should be, on Kelly, the source of the beautiful voice.<\/p>\n
