It is however the hometown of Rosalee &#8211; now based in Las Vegas &#8211; whose single, &#8216;Hmmm&#8217; proudly shares a message of peace, love, and harmony.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">R&amp;B\/Soul\/Funk singer Rosalee truly believes in making the impossible possible. She&#8217;s found her true voice in Las Vegas, and with it made some very valuable connections. Her first single, &#8216;Just My Thang&#8217;, saw her collaborate with Snoop Dogg. She&#8217;s also worked with people who&#8217;ve been a part of the bands of the likes of Stevie Wonder, and Gladys Knight.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rosalee has been learning from all her experiences, and applied them to her new album, &#8216;What It Is&#8217;. The first track, &#8216;Hmmm&#8217;, is accompanied by a\u00a0video is every bit as colourful and diverse as her, filled with stark contrasts. She\u00a0is stunning in a gorgeously ornate, Asian-inspired costume, and yet it never truly reveals her true self\u00a0underneath the outfit. She&#8217;s sitting in an empty apartment, luxurious in size, but completely empty &#8211; even the pool has no water in it. The video progresses and we see others similarly fighting their own battles: a young girl escaping a parochial upbringing (Rosalee admits this part is autobiographical); police violence, other horrible hardships. In the end however, each is brought back from the brink, at the very last moment. There is ugliness in this world: but there&#8217;s a way out of it. Rosalee leads the way, shedding unnecessary layers of clothing, casting off all that holds her back.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;Hmmm&#8217; is now available on <a href=\"http:\/\/apple.co\/1MWXHsE\" target=\"_blank\">iTunes<\/a>.
