Pianist and singer songwriter Ian Haywood will release his Christmas charity single, ‘City Story’, on 2 December. Proceeds from the track will go to raise money for Veterans Aid, and Shelter.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Ian Haywood started composing music as a teenager, and has continued to develop his writing craft ever since. He began his music career working in piano bars and hotels. Since that time he’s moved on to perform his own concerts, and work in collaboration with other musicians. Haywood released his debut album, ‘Inspired By Nature’, earlier this year, and is currently signed to Oakfield Records. Ian will release his new\u00a0EP in 2017.<\/p>\n

‘City Story’ has been produced by Luke Bredin, and was written by Ian to raise awareness of homelessness, and in particular, people sleeping rough on the streets across the UK. The song tells a moving story of the homeless, and how winter is cold on the streets.\u00a0The lyrics are both strong and emotive, at the same time accompanied by an up-tempo instrumental, which showcases Haywood’s considerable talent. Ian hopes people will join him in raising money for the charities Veterans Aid<\/a>, and Shelter<\/a>, by Texting CITY to 85888. The track is available to pre-order from iTunes<\/a>, Amazon<\/a>, and Google Playstore<\/a>.<\/p>\n
