Melbourne singer songwriter Brendan McMahon, performing under the name ‘Satellite Gods’, has released his second studio album, ‘Marker 7-58’. The artist has seen his music played on Triple J Unearthed, as well as receiving frequent airplay on community radio stations around Australia.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Brendan had previously worked with session musicians for his first album, but for ‘Marker 7-58’ he gathered together members of classic Aussie rock bands, including The Angels, Boom Crash Opera, Wilbur Wilde, and so on. The finished album is thirteen well polished tracks which will appeal to a wide range of tastes.<\/p>\n

One of the\u00a0tracks on the album, ‘On My Way’, asks the listener,<\/p>\n

“to imagine a journey from the southern-most city in the world, sailing across one of the roughest passages of water on the planet, then reaching the most pristine, beautiful and unspoilt place on earth\u2026the Antarctic.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The song is accompanied by a video featuring footage of Antarctica, and beautiful Chinstrap Penguins, finding their way around the snow and rocks.<\/p>\n
