Hailing from New Jersey, alt rock metal band Raftree have ‘All The Time’ to prove themselves, with their new single. The band focus on expressive melodies and vocals, as well as raucous riffs.<\/h4>\n

The band’s self-titled EP is testament to the hard yards the quartet have put in over the years. Frontman Kenneth Raftree spent his early days playing covers of songs by Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin, while the rest of the band, lead guitarist Charly Alaimo, Andy Roland on drums, and bassist Ed Tuberion combine their fierce skill set to make their new single, ‘All The Time’, one of the band’s finest.<\/p>\n

The video for ‘All The Time’ features the band in a basement room cranking it up to eleven. Each member of the band is alternatively shot alone or ensemble, emphasising the individual talents of each. While the instrumentation is hard and heavy, Kenneth’s vocals are pure and the song is lyrically complex, lines including “picking up the pieces of a shattered hourglass”, illustrating Raftree’s poetic prowess. The motifs of time are examined in the video as well, with a ticking clock, as well as the hourglass.<\/p>\n

The video was directed by Jeffery Moore at Axtravaganza Films, while the song was recorded at Soundcave Studios and Media 51 with John Seymour Mixing and Mastering come courtesy of Stacey O’Dell.<\/p>\n
