The album was written and recorded over a space of two years and five\u00a0continents, and produced in Rome, Rio de Janeiro, and Nashville. Lead single, ‘Borderline’, is a guitar based melody, with\u00a0a laid back feel.<\/p>\n
Originally signed in Brazil in 2004, Ashton has already released four studio albums and performed live in front of audiences of over twenty thousand, as well as televised audiences of eleven million. He has shared the stage with the likes of Dionne Warwick, and Ang\u00e9lique Kidjo.<\/p>\n
Zach explains\u00a0that ‘Borderline’ was inspired by the difficulty that comes with understanding one’s place in a relationship plagued by mental illness. He says, “With Borderline, I was trying to be as pure as possible in regards to the lyrics. I didn’t want any metaphors- just honest songwriting directly from the heart.”<\/p>\n
