Shooting Script Films<\/strong> is delighted to announce that critically acclaimed playwright and now film producer Adam Rolston will debut his first film A STREET CAT NAMED BOB<\/strong> in nationwide UK cinemas from 4th November.<\/h4>\n

Having sold his first screenplay at just 18 years old, Adam Rolston had a successful playwright career before turning to film production. He wrote the musical stage play ‘A Sentimental Journey: The Story of Doris Day’<\/strong> that had successful runs in London, Edinburgh, Los Angeles and is now playing across Europe.<\/p>\n

After discovering that the International Bestselling Novel ‘A Street Cat Named Bob’<\/strong> by James Bowen<\/strong> was still up for option his life went stratospheric as he pitched for and won the film rights to the novel against stiff studio competition. The film is now being released by Sony Pictures in the UK on 4th November, is directed by Roger Spottiswoode<\/strong> and stars Luke Treadaway, Ruta Gedmintas, Joanne Froggatt, Anthony Head<\/strong>and Caroline Goodall.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now at 32, he has exciting films in production including: ‘Never Google Heartbreak’<\/strong>, written and directed by Rachel Hirons (Powder Room); ‘Booze Bus’<\/strong> directed by J.B. Rogers (American Pie 2) and written by Kat Wood; ‘Either Side of Midnight’<\/strong>, directed by Roger Spottiswoode and written by Jonathan Spottiswoode and ‘The Easter Daddy’,<\/strong>\u00a0written by Tim John (A Street Cat Named Bob).<\/p>\n
