The hearts of fans of indie favourite, Love, Robot\u00a0audibly cracked when the band dissolved. Their pain was partially alleviated when they\u00a0heard that band members Alexa San Rom\u00e1n and Dane Petersen were continuing on, in a new project named Heirsound. Although their expectations were understandably high, they weren’t disappointed as the results shattered all predictions.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Heirsound’s debut EP, ‘Merge’, stays true to the elements which made Love, Robot a favourite, while fearlessly incorporating elements of other genres into their sound. We feature two videos from the EP: ‘Choke’, and ‘Slow Motion’. Both videos have been directed by Alexa, and in the words of PopMatters, in their review of ‘Merge’,<\/p>\n

‘Choke’ is a super cool video with San Rom\u00e1n and Petersen lit up only by a red backlight. The sound is raw and real, with the pair blending into the background and swooping back out again. Check it out:<\/p>\n
