deadmau5 today has released\u00a0a 5-track remix pack of his iconic 2009 single, ‘Strobe’. This is to celebrate the 100th release on his imprint, mau5trap.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The pack includes remixes by such mau5trap alumni as Feed Me, Dimension, Lane 8, Com Truise, and prot\u00e9g\u00e9, ATTLAS.<\/p>\n

‘Strobe’ was the second single from deadmau5′ ‘For Lack Of A Better Name’ album, and pushed the boundaries of electronic music by stripping back all the powerful drops and piercing synthesised beats, and instead focusing on the beautiful melody. It caught the attention of listeners all over the world, and has to date amassed millions of combined streams and views. The track is just as progressive, innovative, and iconic now as it was 7 years ago.<\/p>\n

Dimension, a UK producer signed to Chase & Status label, MTA Recordings, added a high-tempo break beat to an otherwise melodic track, giving it an euphoric sense of feeling. This remix was debuted by Annie Mac on her Radio 1 show.<\/p>\n

Feed Me’s track is nearly 10 minutes of an electro-house anthem, transforming\u00a0the beautiful original track with the addition of robotic synths, high pitch crescendos, and exhilarating drops. Towards the end of the track, it slows down to reveal the original piano melody, like the culmination of an emotional journey.<\/p>\n

The Lane 8 remix, debuted by Pete Tong, slows \u2018Strobe\u2019 right down with an upbeat, house-style piano melody and 4×4 beat adding depth to the track. Giving the track a dance floor ready feel, the emotive track is filled with a fusion of crescendos and synthesised melodies.<\/p>\n

ATTLAS remix of \u2018Strobe\u2019 begins dark with a looming sound as the twinkling of the melody slowly comes in. The track has a mystic feel to it with echoing and panpipe sounds. Layered with beating drums, crashing claps and crescendos of pitched synthesised beats that propels back into the original melody.<\/p>\n

Also putting their spin on the stunning track is fellow mau5trap labelmates Feed Me, BlackGummy and MonsterGetDown, who takes the track on different journeys. British producer Oliver Winters has also done a remix of the track. These remixes will soon be released as fan giveaways.<\/p>\n
