Atlanta Georgia band, The Future Babes, got their start like so many other bands, coming together in high school. Unlike so many other high school bands though, which are short-lived and or ultimately suck, The Future Babes are a quartet who gelled together instantly.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Carson Fleischman (guitar\/vocals), Ian Klin (keys\/bass\/vocals), McClain Hendon (drums), and Andrew Evans (lead guitar) are all talented musicians, and together they find new ways to make their music. They’ve been working hard playing\u00a0everywhere, including house shows and larger venues across the South West of the USA, honing\u00a0their sound by way of endlessly songwriting and performing. The band has not been content to stick to one particular formula, and oftentimes you can find the four swapping roles in an effort to try new things, such as Ian and Carson\u00a0trading off lead vocal duties, or surprise piano lines.<\/p>\n

With the help of Madison Records (who also recorded the band’s full length debut record), The Future Babes now consider themselves ready to meet a national audience.<\/p>\n

‘Cold Blooded’ is the first single from the band’s debut release, and focuses on a fun gathering in a swanky bar. Things hit a snag when the “cold blooded bad bitch” enters the room and works her way around every member of the band, playing her game of false hopes. Pretty soon everyone is at each other’s throats and the girl leaves before her work has finally played out – it’s clear she’s done this before…<\/p>\n

‘Cold Blooded’ is rocky and vibrant, with jangly piano and hard guitars and drums. The vocals are raw and raucous, and the whole song is fun, enticing the listener to play it over and over again.<\/p>\n
