Regular readers will know that we cover a lot of Irish artists – and for good reason. The Emerald Isle is known for its great music, and one band we’ve written about a few times are Northern Irish six piece, Runabay.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

It’s been a little while since we’ve heard from the band out of the Glens of Antrim, but we’re glad to have them back, and latest track, ‘Woodpecker’, out on 5 September, has a slightly more mature sound, but nonetheless continues with the rich folky rock (if there is such a thing) we’ve come to know and love from them.<\/p>\n

Accompanied by a video featuring what appears to be a midsummer’s eve gathering of friends in the woods, it’s a laidback guitar led song, with the glorious harmonies they’re known for ringing in our ears long after the song is through.<\/p>\n
