Somatic Moon, out of New York City, have released their debut single, ‘Dream’, ahead of their EP, ‘Mess’. It’s an ambient and orchestral record, featuring cello and trumpet, with a vocal that is vaguely reminiscent of Lily Allen and Kate Nash.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Somatic Moon formed in order to create music that drives the listener through a musical journey of emotions, melodies, and musicianship. The band creates absorbing compositions that should appeal to fans of Portishead and Massive Attack. The collective is a trio including Michael Litvinenko, Eve Lesov, and Ricardo Rodriguez. The compositions are written and produced by Litvinenko, and co-written by Lesov and Rodriguez. Lesov’s haunting lyrical style gives the songs their ethereal quality, while Rodriguez’s two dozen album credits ensure his great production skills on his bass.<\/p>\n

‘Dream’ has a unique sound stemming from the diverse range of musical experience of each band member.<\/p>\n
