We’ve featured Nick de la Hoyde a few times on here, most recently last month with his original release for ‘Never Gonna Beg For It’<\/a>. Now we bring you the remixes, which give\u00a0the song a completely different feel.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

A\u00a0fast and furious song, ‘Never Gonna Beg For It’ (styled ‘NGBFI’), has already had over 100,000 views on YouTube. Now, the\u00a0remix package, released on 22 July, sees the song\u00a0remixed\u00a0by the likes of Kids On Brides, RIDDLER, Zuzu and JDEL, and SERAFIN, NGBFI has become several\u00a0nearly entirely different songs, with sounds from cool psych dance, to, under the treatment of Kids On Bridges,\u00a0a chunky electro number, with Nick’s vocals sampled over a a thumping rhythm and some pumping reverb.<\/p>\n

Nick de la Hoyde, based in Sydney, Australia, has been making music since was 16, while pursuing a professional soccer career in Barcelona, and seeking a new creative outlet.\u00a0Growing up in a multi-cultural home in Sydney, with a Syrian mother and British father, Nick has been able to blend his many global influences into his unique sound, which is a mixture of hip hop, rock, R&B and spoken word. Additionally his lyrics are both introspective and deeply personal, sounding something like diary entries. The listener is given an insight into the workings of de la Hoyde’s mind.<\/p>\n

Now 22, Nick and his long time producers and collaborators, his older brother John, and Zuzu, have striven to create a sound which is at the same time intimate, expansive, and engaging. His music includes the tracks, ‘The Longest Way’, ‘By My Side’, and ‘Changing’. Nick has also forged a name for himself on social media, cultivating a large and dedicated on-line following, while at the same time becoming a powerful voice for youth empowerment and positivity.<\/p>\n
