The new album, entitled\u00a0Skeleton Tree<\/strong><\/em>, will be released on 9 September, preceded by an accompanying film One More Time With Feeling<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0directed by Andrew<\/strong>\u00a0Dominik<\/strong>.<\/p>\n It’s understood the film, narrated by Cave, will\u00a0\u201cdelve into the tragic backdrop of the writing and recording of the album\u201d.<\/p>\n Described as ‘stark, fragile and raw’ it features interviews and live performance and\u00a0will be shown in cinemas nationwide for one night only on 8 September.<\/p>\n Tickets for performances are available\u00a0here<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n Skeleton Tree\u00a0<\/em>will be the band’s 16th album and their first since the chart-topping\u00a0Push The Sky Away\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>from 2013.<\/p>\n Like the film it’s said to be a ‘true testament\u00a0true testament to an artist trying to find his way through the darkness’.<\/p>\n Copies of the album are available for pre-order through Cave’s own website<\/a><\/span>,<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Nick Cave and The Band Seeds are to release their first material since the tragic death of Nick’s 15-year-old son Arthur last July.<\/p>\n
