Australian pop group, Mischief, have just released their breakout single, ‘Make Me Move’. <\/strong><\/h4>\n

The independent artists released their debut single, ‘Kick It Back’, last year, which was picked up on commercial radio, while their second single, ‘Last Night In Vegas’, also received considerable traction on both metro and regional radio networks in their home country.<\/p>\n

The trio, which comprises Chevonne Nel, Eesha Hunjon, and Rachael Steel, spent a year writing, while performing “classic” pop tunes, and are now working on a fresh music direction, with the help producers Michael Paynter and Michael Delorenzis, from MSquared Productions. The team\u00a0–\u00a0which also includes mastering by Tom Coyne, known for his work with Adele, Taylor Swift, and Justin Bieber, among others – have mixed\u00a0rich EDM beats and soundscapes, in combination with enduring pop melodies. The result is a truly international single, bringing out the best in both genres.<\/p>\n

‘Make Me Move’ was inspired by the likes of Michael Jackson, Prince, Justin Bieber, and The Chainsmokers. Chevonne, the youngest member of the group, says,<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a huge musical leap between the ages of 14 and 18.<\/p>\n

We love the music we grew up with as kids, but now there are new artists out there smashing all the genres together in crazy ways and that\u2019s a very exciting space for us.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Mischief have had hundreds of thousands of Facebook video streams\u00a0and over 130,000 YouTube views to date – no small feat for an independent music act, and proof that they’ve grown into a group worthy of international recognition.<\/p>\n
