Alternative North Wales dreampop outfit, Lights That Change, is our Essential Cover this week, with their take on Tim Buckley’s, ‘Song To The Siren’. The song pays homage to one of their favourite compositions, and is a dreamy, ethereal journey through the mystical realms and back again.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"Lights<\/h4>\n

Lights That Change have undergone a reformation in the past year, with Mandy Clare on Vocals, John Bryan on Bass, and Marc Joy on Guitars. The trio plan to release their debut album, ‘Byzantium’, in early 2016 via UK label, Raphalite Records.<\/p>\n

In 2013 they released their debut EP, ‘Rainbow On Your Shoulder<\/a>‘, which was followed by their second EP, \u00a0‘Whispers In Februar<\/a>y’, the following year. In 2015, the singles ‘Voices’, and ‘Starlight’, came out to critical acclaim, and the group received notable support from the BBC, Tom Robinson, and Amazing Radio, among others.<\/p>\n

‘Byzantium’ will feature guest vocals from Rebecca Palin (Golden Fable), and drums by Malcolm Holmes (Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark).<\/div>\n
