Their music, blending\u00a0a bitter sweet ambience with angst and raw passion, is a\u00a0direct result of their punk and hardcore roots, and has seen them supporting Funeral For A Friend, Polar, and Defense Family, among others.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"font_8\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">[space height=&#8221;10&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cold Summer formed in 2011 and have maintained a strong DIY work ethic, self-releasing two EPs, &#8216;Transitions&#8217;, and &#8216;Wake&#8217; in 2012, and a self-titled album in 2013. An angst-ridden song, spitting out despair at the state of the world, &#8220;I&#8217;m not seeing a change&#8221;, it&#8217;s at once musically complex and yet eminently listenable. The raw &#8211; often screamed &#8211; vocals, further convey the feelings of angst and disappointment.
