Who ever thought that it was possible to\u00a0blur the lines between country music, EDM and pop and come up with something that’s not just catchy but totally earworming!<\/strong><\/h4>\n

That’s exactly what’s happened when country music trio, Lady Antebellum joined forces with EDM artist, Nate Rathbun – also known as Audien.<\/p>\n

Their collaboration, ‘Something Better’, is a genre-less dance track, and shows that Lady Antebellum are more than just fantastic country singers – they turn whatever they touch into gold.<\/p>\n

Lady Antebellum member, Charles Kelly told\u00a0Entertainment Weekly<\/a> about their reaction when approached to work with 23 year old Audien:<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cWorking with someone like Audien puts us a little outside of our comfort zone, but as a band, we\u2019ve always been up for trying different things.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first time we heard the song, we knew we wanted to be part of it. We were immediately drawn to its great melody and powerful lyric.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Grammy-nominated Audien originally approached Lady A to record the vocals, as the EDM artist felt the trio’s harmonies were perfectly suited to the song, with its “call-and-response” structure.<\/p>\n

Combined with Audien’s flair for producing glossy, anthemic electro-pop, the track is destined to make a big impact. ‘Something Better’ is bound to mark Audien as Dance Music’s next big thing.<\/p>\n
