The album is available to pre-order, along with the lead single, 'My Heart Never Lies'.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<img src=\"https:\/\/essentiallypop.com\/epop\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Stevie-McCrorie-1.jpeg\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1500\" class=\"so-widget-image\" style=\"max-width:100%; height:auto; width:100%; display:block\">\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stevie didn't enter The Voice himself: his colleagues in the Kirkcaldy fire service did it for him - and we're grateful they did, as all four judges turned for his audition, and with Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson as his mentor, Stevie blazed to victory.<\/p>\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
Now, with the release of his debut album, ‘Big World’, Scottish singer Stevie shows that, in addition to having an extraordinary voice, he is an accomplished songwriter in his own right.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Voice was always a stepping stone to becoming the artist I want to be,\u201d says Stevie. “I didn’t want to take the easy route. I wanted to take the harder approach to prove I am a songwriter. The public want to hear something real.\u201d<\/p>\n

<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">'Big World' is a brilliant debut album which shows what has been brimming below the surface and waiting to come out. \u2018My Heart Never Lies\u2019 is the perfect introduction to Stevie\u2019s own style&nbsp;and is well worthy of repeat listening.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/code><\/pre>\n

“My mate, who has a daughter, said he started crying to it,\u201d says Stevie. “That\u2019s what I want the song to do. It’s about being away from [my daughter] Bibi, however it doesn’t mention a kid, so it can relate to anybody leaving home.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
We really enjoy that Stevie doesn’t lose his Scottish accent when he sings; it gives his songs further sincerity. Our favourites on the 11 track album are ‘Killing Time’ (song number 4) and the title track, ‘Big World’, which follows. Both are catchy pop-rock infectious tracks, with ‘Big World’ in particular reminding us a lot of Kodaline. We feel this is only the beginning for Stevie: the man is a true talent. <\/p>\n
‘My Heart Never Lies’, which Stevie performed on BBC Children in Need in Scotland last year, is available as an instant download when pre-ordering the album,  ‘Big World’.<\/p>\n
