Savages will play The Dome in London’s Tufnell Park on December 3 as they warm up for their full UK tour in the New Year.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The intimate gig, which follows a show at Berlin’s\u00a0Berghain Kantine on November 30, comes as the band reveal another track from their hotly-anticpated second album Adore Life<\/em>.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

T.I.W.Y.G<\/strong>.<\/em> (This Is What You Get) is another pulsating cut, building on the momentum set by latest single The Answer <\/strong><\/em>reviewed here https:\/\/wp.me\/p5yMhl-40w<\/a>\u00a0earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Savages’ rythmn section\u00a0Ay\u015fe Hassan<\/strong>\u00a0(bass) and\u00a0Fay Milton<\/strong>\u00a0(drums) drive the song along at a furious pace as frontwoman\u00a0Jehnny Beth\u00a0<\/strong>howls ‘This is what you get if you mess with love”.<\/p>\n

But the real star here is\u00a0Gemma Thompson<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>whose incendiary guitar acrobatics illuminate and elevate the music, shifting the mood with a reflective middle eight, before powering through to an exhilarating climax.<\/p>\n

Set for release on January 22,\u00a0Adore Life\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>was recorded at RAK Studios, London. in April and produced by\u00a0Johnny Hostile<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The band say the album is about love, but don’t go expecting too many power ballads, as Savages clearly still have plenty of anger to discharge and wounds to cauterise.<\/p>\n
