Fresh from supporting Gary Numan at his sold out shows in LA and London, Tim Muddiman and the Strange are back with their new single, ‘Your Drugs’.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Accompanied by a dark and somewhat sinister video, the listener is struck most of all by the\u00a0refrain, “Put down your drugs, and swallow love”: the song however neither glamourises drugs as the title possibly suggests, nor is it sending a moral message to avoid drug use; instead, if there is a message at all, it is to allow your creativity to be heightened by natural means – allow love of people, art music…anything that fires the spirit to positive effect.<\/p>\n

Written and produced by Tim Muddiman (who also co-directed the video with\u00a0Adam Fitch), ‘Your Drugs’ reflects Tim’s inspirations: Jim Jarmusch, David Lynch, modern culture, and the human spirit. \u00a0Both song and video are in the third person, speaking to the human spirit: addicted to heightened senses; visuals, music, love, money, thrills, superiority, and divine freedom. The movement and dance in the video represent the spirits dancing in the fire of life: looking it straight in the eyes and setting that spirit free to live life.<\/p>\n

2015 has been a great year for Tim Muddiman and The Strange with the band releasing their third single. Their album, ‘Paradise Runs Deeper’, currently being produced by Tim, is set for release next March via Pledge Music, with plans for a second album already underway.
