Returning for a third year on September 12, BerkoFest promises an incredible line-up of family friendly entertainment. Headlining the festival in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire will be Glenn Tilbrook, one of the UK’s finest musicians. Glenn will be performing tracks from his solo albums – including last year’s, ‘Happy Ending’ – and of course, songs from the Squeeze back catalogue.<\/p>\n
Speaking in July, Glenn said,<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI last played Berkofest in 2012. \u00a0I was struck with what a fantastic, fun, relaxed, child friendly festival it was. \u00a0I had a great gig, amazingly responsive audience. \u00a0I hope that 2015 will be just as much fun.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
The festival will blend established and emerging talent across four stages – classic country duo My Darling Clementine will perform at BerkoFest for the first time; also appearing are the bold and brassy Hackney Colliery Band and the powerfully percussive Black Cat Magic. Returning to Berkofest are Jasmine Rodgers and Shane Lamont,\u00a0<\/strong> with emerging talent performing in\u00a0The Swan Youth Centre and Raw Vibes tents.<\/p>\n
Fun for all the family includes drum workshops; face painting by About Face; Runaround Rascals; The Sandy Art stall; and the full craft beer experience in Haresfoot Brewery’s Folk and Ale tent. A wide range of food will be available, provided by local eateries including Dar Papillon, HERE Caf\u00e9, and Porters.<\/p>\n
