The Jackals release their new album, People,\u00a0featuring a list of great indie infused blues\/rock tracks\u00a0available on vinyl\u00a0September 14th 2015 and currently available to purchase digitally through this\u00a0website<\/a>. \u00a0Hailing from Edinburgh in Scotland, The Jackals have a great classic indie rock style and a live performance to back it up, combining classic clean blues guitar tones and big vocal sounds with head-bopping bass and drum rhythms.<\/p>\n

The Jackals describe their sound as cosmic rock, which may explain why they have recently worked with well-known producer Owen Morris (The Verve, Oasis) on their double A sided single \u2018Holding All The Roses\/L.E.A.R.N.\u2019. Morris had this to say of the experience:<\/p>\n

[blockquote]\u201dI\u2019ve had a very good time mixing tracks for The Jackals, a great band with soulful, massive tunes\u201d. [\/blockquote]<\/p>\n

\"FB_IMG_1436712225181\"<\/a>The album, People, offers a relaxed and laid back approach to the indie rock style with a big harmonious sound which could be compared to bands like The Verve and Oasis; but also has vocal and songwriting similarities to artists such as Beck. \u2018Ghost Soul Traffic\u2019 is a song that has that upbeat sound similar to Beck with surf style guitar parts and a laid back vocal that fit together perfectly and really make it a standout track on the album. \u2018Two Heads\u2019 is another outstanding track on the twelve song album with an awesome vintage sound reminding me of a classic song from the 60\u2019s, proving that the new album by The Jackals, People, will be a great purchase for vinyl.<\/p>\n
