\"11044588_805116036249229_2534213207233956283_n\"<\/a>The Northern Ireland born singer\/songwriter, Damien J Brennan, releases his new EP, Shine, showcasing his vocal talent and pop\/folk acoustic guitar style with three powerful and emotional songs that are due to be released September 14th 2015. After learning how to play guitar and write music while backpacking through Italy and Australia,\u00a0\u00a0Damien J Brennan returned home, and soon began to record some self-made demos he had been working on which received positive feedback and a great review from experienced mastering engineer Peter Maher (U2, Snow Patrol, Katy Perry, Hudson Taylor).<\/span><\/p>\n

The new EP features the song ‘Shine’ that lyrically has a moving and emotional story with vocals that accentuate it through strong dynamic builds. \u00a0Another great song, ‘Blood & Roses’, has a country style feel with a nice rhythmic sounding acoustic guitar strum and a female back up vocal harmony to compliment the lead vocal. ‘Broken’ is a song that incorporates a more pop rock style and has a great build in the chorus with a sound familiar to U2’s more recent albums.<\/div>\n

Damien J Brennan has received airplay on a number of regional UK stations including Tom Robinson’s BBC Radio 6 show, Baylen Leonard and Aaron Philips on Amazing Radio, and an invite to sing live on Soho Radio. \u00a0Damien J Brennan will also appear live at Bedford in London on August 12th.<\/div>\n
