What comes to mind when you hear the words TeenCanteen? A canteen full of\u00a0teenagers? A secret club?<\/p>\n

How about an indie-pop girl group?<\/em><\/p>\n

Let us introduce you to TeenCanteen; hailing from Scotland these girls are here to\u00a0give you a well needed dose of sugar sweet indie-pop. Singing of love, loss, break ups\u00a0in the good old fashioned pop style. We\u2019d recommend you check out debut single\u00a0Honey, which quite literally is as sweet as honey vocally, the harmonies throughout\u00a0have such a twang to them with their Scottish accents.<\/p>\n

I think what we love so much\u00a0about TeenCanteen is that they\u2019re taking pop back to what it needs to be, without the\u00a0gimmicks and with added Scottish fun!<\/p>\n

From playing the T-Break stage at T in The Park in 2014 to releasing their second\u00a0single ‘You\u2019re Still Mine’ in June of the same year the foundations for a firm future\u00a0have been laid. Currently recording their debut album at TAPE Studios in Edinburgh\u00a0we look forward to these upbeat, funky songstresses bringing out new material for us\u00a0to boogie along to!<\/p>\n

They\u2019re also raising money for Scottish Women\u2019s Aid through track ‘Sister’, which can\u00a0be purchased\u00a0here<\/a>\u00a0on limited edition (100 only) jelly red cassettes<\/strong>.\u00a0Do you good deed for the day and grab yourself a copy!<\/p>\n
