Narrow Plains formed in early 2012 and since that time have been on the up and up. The acoustic-Indie trio earlier this year won the London final of Hard Rock Rising, the world’s biggest battle of the bands competition.<\/p>\n

Narrow Plains are Charlie Ferriday\u00a0(guitar\/vocals), Stuart Connick (drums\/back-up vocals) and Roger Connick (bass\/back-up\u00a0vocals).\u00a0They have performed at prestigious venues such as the 02 Academy Islington, 100\u00a0Club, Barfly and Cavern Club in Liverpool and a number of festivals. They have also played\u00a0gigs in USA at the Evening Muse in Charlotte, NC and Blind Tiger in Greensboro, NC. In addition to Hard Rock Rising, Narrow Plains have\u00a0received international acclaim and were winning finalists in the 2014 Canadian\u00a0\u201cLive In Your City\u201d contest of Uprise.FM. They were also selected as Judges Pick 2014 by a\u00a0prestigious panel of music experts in the USA-based Bands4Good online talent contest,\u00a0winning a recording session with the legendary John Davenport in his North Carolina studio.<\/p>\n

Narrow Plains’\u00a0EP, ‘Somewhere in Between’ was written, self-recorded and self-produced at minimal cost, but nonetheless has garnered the band considerable critical acclaim, with Kei Hendrix from Bandmark proclaiming “the\u00a0passion and fury that spawns this type of intense creation is evident in both the lyrics and\u00a0sound\u201d. High praise! The band has recently released another self-produced double A side single, ‘So Rewind’\/’Keep You Anyway’, which was picked as BBC Introducing South’s Track of the Day and has subsequently had airplay on The Jo Good Show, on BBC London 94.9. Additionally Narrow Plains played live for Jo Good, who described the set\u00a0as, “Having a lovely Friday afternoon summer feel’.<\/p>\n

Narrow Plains have signed an album deal with Smart Indie Music, and hope to release their debut album sometime this summer.<\/p>\n
