Hailing from Philadelphia in the 80s, groundbreaking post-punk, proto-industrial outfit, Executive Slacks were\u00a0forerunners of their time. They laid the foundations for many future acts, such as Ministry, Skinny Puppy, and Nine Inch Nails, but their own work seems to lack the attention it deserves.<\/p>\n

Hopefully, this grave injustice can now be rectified, as Cleopatra Records have decided the time is right to reintroduce the band. They are releasing Executive Slacks\u2019 Complete Recordings 1982-1986. It’s A monumental 2CD collection that gathers the band\u2019s entire recorded legacy all in one place, with 22 of the 36 songs appearing for the first time ever on CD!<\/p>\n

Including the cult hit ‘The Bus’, which featured in the hit 80s TV series ‘The Heat’, the album is well-timed to coincide with the current resurgence of post-punk electronic bands, and \u00a0will hopefully lead to renewed appreciation for this highly influential band.<\/p>\n
