As a taster, the band have made the track &#8216;If God Is Real&#8217; available online.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"If God Is Real by FANS\" width=\"640\" height=\"400\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?visual=true&#038;url=https%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F211580415&#038;show_artwork=true&#038;maxheight=960&#038;maxwidth=640\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is a dark and moody piece, with the heavily distorted guitars laid on thick. There&#8217;s a texture to this music: something to get your teeth into. The lead guitar weaves a fascinating melody through the song. It&#8217;s interesting, intriguing, almost impenetrable: this is something you&#8217;ll want to listen to a few times to fully grasp.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The trio gives Jesus &amp;\u00a0Mary Chain,\u00a0and\u00a0My Bloody Valentine as examples of their influences, as well as Johnny Cash&#8217;s work with Rick Rubin: fans of any them can find something to like in FANS, with the loud guitars ringing out their familiar chords.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;Born Into&#8217;, the full EP, will follow this summer, and FANS have given an overview of its themes:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;The record is basically based around the idea that social mobility is an illusion, that what circumstances you&#8217;re &#8216;Born Into\u2019, 90% of the time is where you&#8217;ll end up. A feeling that people who are poor aren&#8217;t valued and have no real control or voice.
