Hailing from North Carolina, indie-rock band Flagship consist of duo Drake Margolnick and Michael Finster.

The pair are unveiling their latest single ‘I Want You’, a track which effortlessly moves from the pastoral folk sound, reminiscent of bands such as Fleet Foxes, The National and Grizzly Bear into a bright, innocent pop vibe.

“the most mature writing we have done, We didn’t feel like we were writing songs, just writing lines. It’s just real life; that’s all it is. That’s what we’’d like to create; something that’ll be around for a long time and people will still listen to it. Leave a good legacy, write good music and have a lot of fun doing it.””

Described as “some of their most impressive material to date”, ‘Faded’ is set for release on 10 July and can be pre-ordered here.
