Way back in 2008, pop duo People Like You were enjoying\u00a0success in the French music scene – from radio to MTV, summer festivals and French clubs, with their self-titled debut album, which had been produced by Goh Hotoda and arranged by Philippe Saisse. Between them, Hotoda and Saisse have worked with the likes of Madonna, Prince, Depeche Mode, The Rolling Stones, Bowie, and Elton John.<\/p>\n

Irish singer\/songwriter\u00a0Adrienne Dennehy and French composer and multi-instrumentalist Manuel Moutier befriended each other about 10 years ago, upon the discovery of their mutual love of pop music. The duo started experimenting with words and melodies, and thus was born ‘Worshipping the Sound’, which became the lead track on their debut album.<\/p>\n

Manu’s musical interests are mostly the 80s synthesiser bands, with Depeche Mode and Erasure being his favourites. Adrienne on the other hand has a distinct preference for Stevie Wonder, Kylie, and Madonna. Combined, their influences can be clearly heard in their own feel good version of Europop.<\/p>\n

The pair took a break to concentrate on their own projects, but have since reunited and have spent the past two years between Paris and London: writing, recording, and just building a massive catalogue of songs. The result of all this hard work is their three EP series – the first, ‘Found Me<\/a>‘. was released last November.<\/p>\n
