Aubrey Whitfeld is a singer\/songwriter originating from\u00a0Merseyside, but now working out of London. Described as\u00a0‘a grittier Annie Lennox’, she created her\u00a0own record label, 2ube Records, in February 2014 in order to release her own music.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Back in 2002 she was already making an impact, playing The\u00a0<\/span>Barfly in Liverpool alongside another up and coming band called the Kaiser Chiefs. These days\u00a0she can be found gigging at prestigious venues such as The Cavern Club, Guilfest, The Troubadour Club and many more..<\/span><\/p>\n

Recorded at Denmark Street Studios in London, and mixed and mastered by Guy Katsav (The View, Laura Marling, David Guetta), new single ‘Every Cloud’ is due to be released on 25th May. Aubrey originally wrote the song when she was just 17. \u00a0It was<\/span>\u00a0given a fresh start and new lyrics four months ago following the end of a relationship.<\/span><\/p>\n

The song beautifully captures the realisation that, though she believed her girlfriend to be a soul mate, the pair were never meant to be together. It\u2019s a simple, relatable concept which will resonate with many people.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
