Premiere: Darren Jessee – ‘Getting Back To It Now’

‘Getting Back To It Now’, set for release tomorrow, October 16, is the new single from Darren Jesse’s sophomore album, ‘Remover’. Best known as co-founder and drummer for Chapel Hill alt-pop act, Ben Folds Five, Jesse has had a 25 year history in the music business, and has released music since 2004 under the nom de plume of Hotel Lights. ‘Getting Back To It Now’ is the follow up to the single, ‘Cape Elizabeth’, which we wrote about at the end of July.

Darren Jessee is probably best known for being the co-founder and drummer of Ben Folds Five, but he’s a solo performer as well, and his latest album, ‘Remover’, the follow up to 2018’s ‘The Jane, Room 217’, is set for release on October 16, through Bar/None Records. ‘Cape Elizabeth’, from the forthcoming album, came out on 31 July.
