Regina Ferguson Is Singing In A ‘Canyon Town’ With New Country Song

In the music video for Regina Ferguson’s beautiful new single, ‘Canyon Town’, the artist goes beyond lonely reflection, and instead depicts an exploration of love, with dancers Ryan Lee and Ryan Green mirroring the wide open spaces of the environment.

Regina sings of a winding river in a canyon, as well as those moments that are made all the sweeter when in the company of those you love. On the surface, ‘Canyon Town’ might seem like an ode to the beauty of nature, but it goes much further than that, and is in effect a love song, which commemorates the love between kindred spirits. Regina’s vocals emphasise her country sound, and the steel guitar reflects a gospel influence to her Americana style.

The third single from her debut album, ‘Canyon Town’ serves as a showcase for her personal journey, and is a fine example of Regina’s incredible songwriting. She’s a rising star in the Americana and country music scenes of Southern California and songs like ‘Canyon Town’ go a long way to showing why.

The striking music video for ‘Canyon Town’, by Mara Whitehead, is a fitting companion to the song, being shot in the rugged terrain of California’s desert. Regina is shown walking barefoot through the shifting sands, as well as playing her guitar against a fence, and striding into a lagoon, fully dressed. Meanwhile a pair of dancers, Ryan Lee and Ryan Green illustrate a deep connection with earth and sky, as well as each other.
