DJ Kaito Releases Album ’10 Years’

Based in Hanover, Germany, artist and rapper DJ Kaito has released his new album, ’10 Years’. The record covers his career during this time, and is a celebration of his sound, from the first song he ever wrote, to the love he has received, as well as some odes to his haters.

While all the tracks are in German, ’10 Years’ will resonate with all listeners, as he takes us on a journey through exciting beats and melodies, and contrasting atmospheres; all of which serve as a showcase for DJ Kaito’s formidable talent. While touching on such diverse genres as Hip-Hop, R&B and his own unique styles, ’10 Years’ is an album which can be appreciated on many levels.

DJ Kaito, whose real name is Simon Bohnsack, has also performed as Destroyed Jeane, but his current pseudonym stems from his love of Anime, in particular the characters Dectective Conan and the Kaitou Kid, who is also known as Kaito Kiddo. DJ Kaito has released many cover songs and mixes on his YouTube channel, ‘superconan4ever’, including the mixtape ‘DJ Kaito Nr.1’. IT was when released ‘6th October (Day of the Nation)’ in 2012, his first independent and self-produced single that resulted in Kaito becoming well known in Germany.

The 15 track album ’10 Years’, naturally therefore contains ‘6th October’, along with tracks from his most popular mixtapes and EPs.
