Kira Rizavi Releases New Track ‘Fly’

Nineteen year old singer songwriter Kira Rizavi is going to make it to the top, and her new single ‘Fly’ is just one way she’s going to get there.

In her newest single, ‘Fly’, Kira Rizavi sings, “I’m going to show you some things that you can’t undermine”, and the artist, who is also a student at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, is certainly not messing around. The song, which was inspired while she was at sea, watching the water level through the ship’s porthole, is all about what is important in life:

“When you’re thrown into the water you want to be able to swim and stay above,” Kira Rizavi says. “It’s a little like flying in that way, and it got me thinking about how to rise above societal expectations. Maybe the only way to really fly is to be yourself. I hope this song brings people the hope and confidence to do exactly that. It’s a reminder that you can take charge of your own life and be the person you aspire to be.”

Kira reunited with Global Media Music’s Tony Coluccio on ‘Fly’, having previously worked with the producer on her debut single, ‘Breathe Down‘. Coluccio, who is responsible for more than 20 Billboard Number One Dance Remixes, including ‘All The Single Ladies’, by Beyoncé, and ‘Hurt’, from Christina Aguilera. ‘Fly’ certainly owes a lot to both artists stylistically, with its sound the perfect blend of dance, hip-hop, R&B, funk, and soul, with a super-empowering chorus, which enables the song to be perfect for any and every occasion.
