Two New Singles From The Provocatively Named War Panties – ‘Creaky Crooked Woman’ And ‘Delaware Cornfields’

With the cojones to proclaim themselves best bar band in Louisville, Kentucky, War Panties certainly have the skills to back it up, and with their two new singles, ‘Creaky Crooked Woman’, and ‘Delaware Cornfields’, they’re sharing with the world the funk grooves, humour, and irreverence that their fans have come to know and love.

Taken from their album, ‘In The Year Of Zuul MMXX’, the clip for ‘Creaky Crooked Woman’ sees the band playing live, with all the stage effects, and an almost psychedelic light show. Given that they’re known for their live performances, and that’s not been an option for the last 9 months or so, they’re bringing the excitement home to their fans.

War Panties are nothing if not versatile, and another song from their latest album, ‘Delaware Cornfields’, is a stark contrast to the urban sound of ‘Creaky Crooked Woman’, in that it’s a country singalong style tune. Both videos have been made by Angelo Jackson, with suggestive footage of a girl mixing up trouble in her kitchen, interspersed in the live footage for ‘Creaky Crooked Woman’, while ‘Delaware Cornfields’ sees the War Panties fellas out on a country road, with their musical instruments, singing to the sky and to anyone else who might bend an ear to listen.
