SugaKane ft. TooTone – ‘I’m Paintin”

SugaKane is a God-fearing family man from Topeka, Kansas, whose first album, ‘Small City BIG DREAMS’ pays homage to his hometown, with its 126K population.

Now the co-owner, along with his brother, of Underworld Music Group, SugaKane spent 3 years playing basketball in Finland, before transitioning into music. He gives credit to his producer Mike G for helping him create his diverse sound, and his publishing team at Kingdom 2 Publishing Company and the marketing team at New Midwest Marketing have helped get the word out. Opening for Tech N9ne and DMX has given him even more recognition.

‘I’m Paintin”, featuring Too Tone, is raw, but with a certain amount of gloss. It’s the first from his upcoming album. ‘From The Bottom Looking Up’, and is all about having the motivation to keep moving forward, no matter much you’re struggling – “don’t let your paint dry”. Too Tone, a friend of SugaKane’s cousin, provides a smooth flow, making it the perfect addition to Suga’s swag.

The music video for ‘I’m Paintin”, produced and directed by SPIZZBERG, sees SugaKane and his crew in Las Vegas, and the clip was set at The Cromwell Hotel and Casino. There’s a lot of paint, and painting, featured in the video: SugaKane literally gets brush and paints out, selling canvases from his hotel room to scantily clad satisfied customers; pay attention too to the graffiti, yet more works of art.
