Tatty Bumpkin Is Inspiring Kids To Move During Winter Lockdown With ‘Bendy Giggly Clever & Strong’

Tatty Bumpkin is the brainchild of Sam Petter, begun in 2014 as a more creative, holistic approach to the movement activities of children aged 0-7. The album, ‘Bendy, Giggly, Clever And Strong’ has been written by yoga teachers, educationalists, and musicians, and takes children on a story narrative to inspire creativity. The title track, ‘Bendy Giggly, Clever and Strong’ takes the four components of Tatty Bumpkin’s mission: Bendy – through yoga movements; Giggly – through creativity; Clever – through carefully crafted developmental links; and Strong – through mindfulness and relaxation.

Sam Petter is a yoga teacher, who is also an international swimmer, and 2019’s recipient of the Kent Business Woman Of The Year award. Tatty Bumpkin is a character at the heart of a worldwide network yoga classes for young people, and ‘Bendy, Giggly, Clever And Strong’ joins previous releases which have inspired and nurtured thousands of children – and their parents!

The album features contributions from Chris Petter, a record label owner and professional trombone player and Philip Davies who has professionally recorded and produced several releases and is a renowned educationalist. Each track is inspired by an animal yoga position designed to motivate & inspire meaningful movement, and is ideal for using at home as movement breaks with your children. The aim of each track is to help the child learn at their own level, with no over – or under – stimulating.
