Tealand Smith – ‘Christmas Day In America’

Tealand Smith, from Atlanta, Georgia, shows us the warmth and soul of his home state with his new single, ‘Christmas Day In America’.

It’s not going to be your average Christmas this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still have a bit of cheer, and Tealand Smith knows just how to do it. The music video for the song is upbeat and cheerful, with a conventional Christmas theme, and it’s entirely in keeping with the vibe of the song. Tealand wakes up Christmas morning, opens the presents arranged artfully under the tree, and celebrates with his family at the table, eating the lovingly prepared feast, before getting down with some singing and dancing.

There’s an R&B twist to the song which adds a fun groove to the otherwise pop track, and Tealand sends the universal sentiment, to make sure we all spread the love and joy and share good times with one another this holiday season – even if it has to be virtual.

Even if we are apart from our friends and family this Christmas, the message is the same this year as every other year – that love makes the world go round. Love is eternal, and it’s what makes Christmas so special, as we’re reminded about the important things in life. Love, after all, is what makes Christmas, Christmas.
