Mina Okabe – ‘I’m Done’

‘I’m Done’ is the debut single by 20 year old singer, Mina Okabe. Born in London, and now living in Copenhagen, Denmark, the artist has lived a busy life all over the world, with music serving as her escape.

The laidback, alternative pop track tells a tale of regret, while maintaining an honesty, along with a touch of magic. Mina, whose parents are Danish and Japanese, wrote ‘I’m Done’ on her electric guitar, in her small bedroom. The track serves as a warm breeze, against the cold and dark times of autumn and winter.

Although primarily alt-pop, Mina takes inspiration from other genres, with jazz and soul clear influences.

‘I’m Done’ is out now, through Copenhagen Records, and was preceded by a music video, which you can watch below.
