Sweden’s prolific dance artist and producer Steerner is here with another record that bridges the gap between pop and electronic music this week. The guy behind big hits like “I Wouldn’t Lie” has been hard at work in 2020 creating “Shadow Side,” which offers up a little look at his personal inspirations.
He says of this guitar-fuelled single:
“The brighter the light, the darker the shadow. ‘Shadow Side’ is a love song about diving deep at the risk of drowning. It could be for a person, a lifestyle or a passion. On another level, ‘Shadow Side’ is also about the intoxicating thrill of flirting with danger and darkness.”
Released in collaboration with TikTok creator and influencer Liam Kalevi, “Shadow Side” offers anthemic beats and an invigorating, singalong melody that we’re already humming over and over.
