Bringing Bossanova Back Into The Mainstream Is Zoe Scott, With Her New Album, ‘Shades Of Love’

Bringing bossanova back into the mainstream is Zoe Scott, with her new album, ‘Shades of Love’.

An exploration in arrangement and traditional techniques, ‘Shades of Love’ sees Scott reimagining some of her most beloved childhood songs and giving them a new, Brazillian twist. Included are covers of songs made famous by the Pretenders, The Beatles, Amy Winehouse and more – each with Scott’s own stamp put on them and almost unrecognizable to the original!

Scott’s vocals remain strong and impressive throughout, tackling iconic vocal lines with ease and making them her own. She is clearly passionate about this style of music, and wants to put her stamp on the genre, as well as those songs she loves so well.

The album is a soothing mix, which sees her collaborate with 10 times Grammy-winner Brazillian producer Moogie Canazio – who has previously worked with Daniel Jobim (the son of Antonio Carlos Jobim, who wrote ‘Girl From Ipanema’, amongst others.

This Fall, give your ears a welcome break from the fast pace of modern life, and give ‘Shades of Love’ a spin now.

SHADES OF LOVE IS OUT EVERYWHERE ON THE 2ND OF OCTOBER 2020.
