It’s All ‘Said And Done’ With New Single From Irish Band Wild Wonder

With a sound that falls somewhere between Dua Lipa and Taylor Swift, Irish band Wild Wonder are straight out of the gate with new single, ‘Said And Done’. Be warned that the song, which has classic pop bones set against strong vocals and gorgeous instrumentation, will have you humming the extremely catchy chorus all day – and then some.

Hailing from Dublin and Meath, Wild Wonder, led by Mags Fox, first leapt onto the scene in 2018 with a wow of a performance at Electric Picnic festival, before releasing their debut EP in September 2019. Latest single, ‘Said And Done’, set for release 14 August, has a thumper of a bass intro, which is followed by a fabulously catchy single piano note, which although it wavers about, primarily sticks around for the rest of the song, providing a rhythm for which to focus on. Mags Fox’s vocals are strong and smooth, perfectly capturing the 60s vibe of the song, which is further established in the Motown style backing vocals. Gorgeous strings complete the instrumental, making ‘Said And Done’ an altogether lovely listen.

Lyrically the song examines such themes as love, jealousy, and insecurity, all with passion and enthusiasm.

‘Said And Done’ was recorded at Dublin’s Camden Studios, with production by Cian Boylan and Conor Brady, and mastering by Grammy Award Winner, Ruadhri Cushnan.
