‘Ayley’ Releases New Single ‘Worst Days’

With a sound reminiscent of Billie Eilish, singer songwriter Ayley has released her new single, ‘Worst Days’. The laid back track, which was recorded at London’s Gess Productions, sees the artist collaborate with her producer, and is the perfect tonic for these days of uncertainty.

Previously recording under a different name, ‘Ayley’ references the word “Alien”, after the feeling of being misunderstood, and different to others. The track was written at a time when Ayley was feeling low, so she took to writing down her thoughts, with the result the catchy ‘Worst Days’. It’s a great reminder that we can get through our worst days, there’s a brighter day on the other side.

‘Worst Days’ is a bright and airy track, with Ayley’s voice standing out clearly against a stripped back electric and bass guitar instrumental, which provides a simple yet very substantial foundation. We love the juxtaposition of lead and backing vocals which blend into one in places – beautiful.

Ayley has created for herself a brand new start – putting her ‘Worst Days’ behind her, and is gearing up for the opportunity to be able to perform live. With tracks as great as ‘Worst Days’, we’re excited for what more she has up her sleeve.
