Emily Burns’ Brand New EP ‘I Love You, You’re the Worst’ Out Now

Emily Burns has released her brand new EP, ‘I Love You, You’re the Worst’, via Island Records and announced a very special live-streamed fundraiser show from the legendary Abbey Road Studios. The EP features the previously released vivacious pop anthems ‘Terrified’ and ‘Hello’, as well as the beautifully emotive ‘Curse’.

‘I Love You, You’re The Worst’ is available to stream and download here.

‘I Love You, You’re the Worst’ follows Emily’s powerful stand-alone track, ‘Press Pause’, and last year’s acclaimed My Town and PDA EPs, between them featuring singles ‘Is It Just Me?’ (which has now amassed over 10 million streams on Spotify alone), ‘My Town’, ‘Too Cool’ and ‘Damn Good Liar’.

To celebrate the release of the EP, Emily will perform a live-streamed gig from Abbey Road Studios on July 30th. Only a few years ago Emily was putting in hours behind the desk at Abbey Road, whilst using all of her spare time to record and write. Now, as an emerging multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter with a major recording deal and 44 million Spotify streams under her belt, Emily returns to Studio 3 at Abbey Road, the place where it all began, for this incredibly unique performance. All proceeds from the performance are going towards AKT Charity, which supports young and vulnerable LGBTQ+ people faced with homelessness.

Tickets and further information can be found here.

Emily has been performing live on her Instagram every Wednesday at 6:30pm (BST) during the UK COVID-19 lockdown, covering tracks chosen by fans, then following with a Q&A. Emily has also been hosting online video meetups via Zoom in a series called ‘Terrified Talks’, where she and fans chat together, and talk through how they’re all feeling in these unprecedented times.
