Premiere: ‘New York City Nights’ By Peppermint Heaven Signals Launch Of New EP

Peppermint Heaven return with their latest single, ‘New York City Nights’. The track is the precursor to their new EP, ‘Dreams’, which is set for release at the end of the summer.

The song, set for release tomorrow 19 June, has the signature 80s style vibe that fans of Peppermint Heaven know so well, with an upbeat tempo which calls to mind the classic sound of Pet Shop Boys, along with more contemporary acts, such as Tame Impala. Heavy on synths, strong on beat, it’s a track that will appeal to everyone, and fans of Peppermint Heaven will certainly lap it up.

Despite being based in Los Angeles, in this latest release Juno (keyboards and vocals) and Spark (bass, drums, and vocals) are singing about the city that never sleeps: the Big Apple – New York, New York. The track conjures up nights that never end, spent dancing forever in clubs such as CBGB, Palladium, or the legendary Studio 54. Although Peppermint Heaven are known for their 80s sound, ‘New York City Nights’ evokes a strong disco feel, that, like all their other tracks it must be said, makes you want to get up and dance, right now, wherever you are.

‘New York City Nights’ is out tomorrow, June 19. Find out more about Peppermint Heaven online on Facebook, and Twitter.
