KOLETTE – ‘Change My Life’

Irish singer KOLETTE (formerly known as Colette Kavanagh) makes it her first priority to warm the emotional essence of her listeners. She grew up surrounded by music – her father would play piano while her mother sang, and her aunt was a singer with the Dublin Opera Society – and so it was only natural she would get into music herself. Although KOLETTE draws on influences from a wide range of musical artists including Roy Orbison, and Julie London, she nonetheless is able to craft her songs in a way that is uniquely hers.

KOLETTE’s career began as a guest singer on a 10 day tour with Johnny Cash’s guitarist, Bob Wootton, back in 2007. She regularly performs in Ireland, and her song, ‘Rebekah’s Lullaby’, was used in the 2014 award-winning short film, ‘Skunky Dog‘.

KOLETTE has since then made a name for herself in the EDM world, and the bouncy melody of her latest single, ‘Change My Life’, comes with a beautiful music video set in a futuristic forest.

KOLETTE sings as she walks in the forest, surrounded by purple shaded flowers. We see two friends, kindred spirits and inseparable, who likewise find their way into the forest. They are led away and enter a house, where they are observed by droids, and replicated, without their knowledge. Later they run into their clones, and instead of fearing them, walk off together in unison.
