Pop Rap Artist Dwain Miller Releases Debut EP ‘Dark Times Can Be Brighter’

Birmingham pop rapper Dwain Miller has channelled his own life experiences, including those of suffering with mental health issues, into his music. He set out with the idea of releasing a project which would both inspire and assist his audiences, and his debut EP, ‘Dark Times Can Be Brighter’, is available now.

First track from the record, ‘Where I’ve Got To Get To!’ is accompanied by a semi-animated music video, featuring Dwain the guise of a super hero going about his every day life. Miller’s voice is sweet and appealing, his style a blend between pop and RnB, with his rhymes coming from the heart as he shares the hard-hitting narrative about someone suffering from mental health issues, and getting to the point where you realise you have to seek help. Told with humour and a down-to-earth realness, it’s an appealing track that will strike a chord with many listeners.

Dwain Miller wrote all four tracks on his EP, which was then rcorded at Base Studios with producer Alec Sedgeley. The artist takes his from pop, hip hop, and soul, and artists such as James Arthur, and Stormzy.
